The Fiji Police Force is expecting new police vehicles to help with the highway patrol around the country.
Police Chief of Operations, ACP Rusiate Tudravu says as we enter into the first week of 2018, they are pleading to both drivers’and pedestrians to change their attitude as they try to curb road fatalities.
”We have noted the number of traffic infringement, the booking long the main highways which is a food for thought for all road users, please we are also focusing on serious crimes and drugs and we enter into the welcoming week on 2018”

ACP Tudravu says they have recorded seventy fatalities last year and it was the highest since 2008.
