July 3, 2018 10:03 pm

Legal Aid Fiji has now expanded its services to the people of Labasa.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says offices like this are important because the law and access to legal services are among the greatest equalizers in Fijian society.

Well over 40,000 Fijians have been assisted at Legal Aid Offices throughout the country last year.

Bainimarama says government’s commitment to expand legal services is a critical part of the mission to build a more caring and inclusive Fiji.

He has urged Fijians in need of legal services to take advantage of the new office.

The Prime Minister will open a similar office in Savusavu today and in Nabouwalu tomorrow.
