Two new Irish crossings will benefit close to 2,000 people living in the farming community of Vutuni, Ba especially the farmers who harvest and transport around 5,000 tonnes of sugarcane.
Fiji Roads Authority had awarded the tender to Fairdeal Earthmoving Limited to construct the two crossings at a cost of $2.6 million.
Both crossings will be opened by the Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, Parveen Kumar on Wednesdays.
Construction started in January this year and the crossings took nine months to complete.
