People of Matailobau District in Naitasiri will greatly benefit from the $1.6m newly constructed Nabena Irish Crossing.
Fiji Roads Authority Program Manager for Bridges and Jetties Nixon Toremana says the new Irish crossing will make a difference in the lives of the people of Nabena who will now be able to access both sides of the river safely.
He says the local communities will once again safely connect to markets, health access and education opportunities.
The new Irish Crossing took eight months to construct.
