The Hibiscus Festival will for the first time be held at the Valelevu grounds in Nasinu with hopes to create positive vibes and a unique environment for Fijians this year.
With the unavailability of venues in and around Suva, the carnival has been shifted to Valelevu, where currently the Sinu Festival is taking place.
Hot Bread Kitchen sales and marketing officer, Timaleti Turagaborisi, says stall owners at the Sinu Festival are excited as they plan to rake in more profits come Hibiscus.
“As for the first time the hibiscus carnival will be held in Valelevu for me and as for us at the Hot Bread Kitchen we normally go around for all the events but first time will be in Valelevu. Here at the moment we are having Nasinu carnival and by looking at the crowd we like it”
The 2018 Hibiscus will be held at the Valelevu grounds from 11th to the18th of this month.
