A new Fiji consulate general office has been opened at the Sydney business district in Australia.

Opening the consulate yesterday, Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says this will boost business and investment opportunities between the two countries.

Bainimarama says Fiji is now well represented alongside major financial businesses and business partners who are waiting to do business with Fijians.

”I know that we will forge relationship that bring even greater investment to our country, that will bring more jobs to our people and will help the next decade of Fijian progress and prosperity.”

Bainimarama says both countries are now re-engaging and redefining bilateral relations in line with diplomatic engagements.
