The strengthened ties between the Fiji’s Ministry of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation with that of the Indonesian Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection will create new opportunities for women’s exchange programs between the two nations.

Earlier this week, a high level Indonesian delegation led by Minister of Women Empowerment – Dr. Yohana Susana Yembise held discussions with Minister, Rosy Akbar at the 2nd Joint Technical Working Group organised in Suva.

Dr. Yembise says this visit has enabled the delegation to identify various areas of collaboration between both countries that will be further explored.
