There are some major changes that will be undertaken in Nadi Town – which will soon be declared a City.
Speaking at the Digicel Bula Festival last night, Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says these are exciting times for Nadi.
Apart from the major construction of a four-lane road and improvements to the conditions of road networks in and around Nadi Town, Sayed-Khaiyum says there is more to come in the New Year.
“We have a major programme to get a lot of street lighting and major footpaths done – not just in the Nadi Town area but in areas like Votualevu and various other suburbs of Nadi if you like.”
Sayed-Khaiyum also mentioned that by December this year Nadi will also be able to access to Digital Television after the launch of the service by Prime Minister.
