June 6, 2014 8:04 pm

Fiji’s very first ATR 72-600 starts its first commercial flight next week – flying from Suva to Nadi and from Nadi to Villa and Nadi to Apia and back.

The new aircraft is being leased from ADC Company in Singapore and according to pilot Captain Bruce Williams, it’s a good investment.

Attorney General and Minister for Aviation Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says the inclusion of the ATR 72 600 aircraft will now add more flights to the region and free up the 737 aircraft, to take up more flights to Australia and New Zealand.
