For the first time ever Fiji now has an Allergy Testing Machine.
Sicknesses like sinus and asthma can be cured if tested using this new machine.
It will be able to identify the allergen which is causing this sickness.
Allergy Testing is currently not being done in the country. Samples are sent overseas for testing.
Tourism and Trade Minister Faiyaz Koya launched the new machine in Suva last night.
‘’This instrument is designed to deliver accurate and reproducible test results which increases operational efficiency and shortened lead time , i have been reliably informed that no other countries in the pacific has this machine as well as this testing instrument’’.
The Allergy Testing Machine was brought in by VanMed a Laboratory company based in Suva at a cost of 85 thousand dollars.
