Fiji Airways newest A330-300 aircraft will arrive into the country next week Tuesday.
The new aircraft will be the fourth airbus for Fiji Airways’ fleet and will have the capacity to carry more than 300 passengers – forty more seats than the A330-200.
The announcement was made this afternoon by the airline’s chief executive Andre Viljoen.
Viljeon says this new aircraft will be used to service the Los Angeles and Hong Kong routes.
“Our new airbus A330-300, the enhanced version, will be flying from Hong Kong with our President on board and will be bringing the airport to Fiji.”
Present at the announcement today was the Minister for Civil Aviation Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum.
Sayed-Khaiyum says all Fijians should be proud of this new route and the level of connectivity the national airline provides all Fijians.
