Fijians living in Dreka settlement, Cakaudrove will no longer have to carry their produce to the main road and wait for transport following the opening of their new road yesterday.

Commissioner Northern Jovesa Vocea says this will not only assist farmers transport their produce to the main road but also transport students to and from school.

Dreka Advisory Councilor, Ritesh Dayal says that road issues existed for more than fifty years.

Vocea urged the farming community to maximize economic outputs from the provision of the new road to help raise their standard of living.
