The National Disaster Management Office is advising the general public to exercise caution as a heavy rain warning remains in force for parts of the country.
Pedestrians and motorists are advised to refrain from walking or driving through floodwaters.
Parents and teachers are advised to monitor the whereabouts of their children at all times and to keep them away from flooded drains or waterways.
The NDMO advises families to keep emergency kits available at all times that includes clean drinking water and canned/dried food, a battery powered radio, a torch with spare batteries, medicine, essential documents, clothes, and other essentials.
It is also advising the public to be certain about the location of their nearest evacuation center by contacting their District Officer, District Advisory Councillor or Village Headman.
Members of the public can contact the Fiji Roads Authority by phone on 5720 to enquire about affected roads and crossings.
