The road approaching the Navutu Bridge on Navutu Street in Lautoka has been restricted to a single lane.

The Fiji Roads Authority confirms this is due to a burst sewer main that is washing out the approach to the bridge.

The FRA advises that safety is paramount and as a consequence, the road is restricted to a single lane.

The FRA has advised the Water Authority to address the situation immediately.

Motorists are advised to take care and drive to the current conditions.
