Josefa Seniwatui Navuku has been appointed as the new Commissioner for the Central Division.

The former Chief Economic Planning Officer for Police at the PMs Office takes over Setareki Tale who retired last year.

Navuku says he will use his experience from the PMs Office especially in carrying out innovative development programs.

He says the three priorities he will focus on are strengthening the information management coordination in the Central Division, make his office a one-stop shop for the five provinces and empower the team as they are leaders in their different fields.

Navuku will be looking after the five provinces in the Central Division, comprising of Rewa, Tailevu, Naitasiri, Serua, and Namosi.
