Navua town declaration process nears completion

The process for the proposed declaration of Navua as a town is nearing completion.

This has been confirmed by Local Government’s Minister Parveen Kumar as he awaits the end of the objection period.

Once this is complete, a final decision on the declaration of Navua as a town will be made.

Kumar adds that in a report by the Asia Development Bank, it forecasted Nadi as the regional hub of Fiji.

Kumar says the process towards this has started and they look forward to Fiji’s third city in the near future.
