A farmer who is charged for the alleged murder of a 34-year-old security guard has been remanded.

Fabiano Dakai appeared at the Navua Magistrates Court charged with one count of murder.

He is alleged to have murdered the security officer in Waidradra, Navua earlier this month,

His case has been transferred to the Suva High Court  for mention on the 14th of April.

He allegedly fled into the interior of Navua, when the investigators established solid leads into his alleged involvement.

Dakai was arrested at Dakunikoro farm after surrendering himself to Police.
