Navua family moves to evacuation centre

DISMAC officials have escorted a family to the Rampur Primary School in Navua.

Police have confirmed that drain overflow has caused all feeder roads in Nakaulevu, which includes the Waidradra, Nasasa, Viwawa and Rovandrau roads.

Motorists are advised not to try crossing flooded roads.

The Rampur School is open as an evacuation center and the public is being advised to move to the school if they feel they are in danger.

In the Rewa Delta, Koroi Road leading to the Sawani Village School is flooded as water level rises in the Waimanu River.

FBC News has received the confirmation that no houses are underwater and people living near the area are to take precautions.

Meanwhile, there is no major reports from Nausori as the rain has eased.

Settlements in Qauia in Lami and Wailea Settlement in Vatuwaqa are already feeling the brunt of Tropical Depression 04F.
