Police have charged the man who was driving a vehicle which was involved in an accident, that allegedly claimed the lives of three people in Navo, Nadi last month.

The 19 year-old has been charged with three counts of dangerous driving occasioning death and one count of dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm.

He was produced at the Nadi Magistrates Court yesterday and bailed on $1,000 with surety.

The case has been adjourned to the 11th of June.

Two adults and a child died when vehicle veered off the road near the Jacks of Fiji factory.

The three were part of a group of five people heading to Sonaisali from the Nadi Town end.

They were returning from a picnic.
