Residents living in the low lying areas of Nausori need to move to higher ground as the level of water in the Rewa River is increasing.
This was confirmed by National Disaster Management office director Akapusi Tuifagalele today.
In Nausori because of the increasing level of the Rewa river what it means is that for us the public needs to be aware of the situations on the ground and they need to prepare themselves and those who are habitual in flooding it will be a good opportunity for them to move their stocks and also need to relocate if need be we have already identified the evacuation centers around the country.
Tuifagalele is strongly advising residents to be cautious.
