The new Nausori Market – once open will not only cater for vendors but will also provide other services.

Nausori Town Council Special Administrator Azam Khan says the project is in its final stages and is expected to open in a few weeks time.

Khan says Nausori market is the biggest market in the country and will cater for close to 1500 vendors.

Other services such as restaurants for farmers and for customers who will be shopping here and some small shops to very much promote micro business have also been incorporated in this market

More than $10 million has been invested in the new Nausori market and bus stand.
