Nausori is fastest growing

Nausori Town Council believes that people from Nasinu are now moving into Nausori .

Chief Executive Azam Khan says Nasinu is now overpopulated and on an average one family comes to Nausori each day.

He says for that reason Nausori is one of the fastest growing municipalities in the country with an average growth rate of four percent per annum.

The town currently boast more than 4,000 ratepayers and with the extension of the town boundary to Waila the number is expected to be increased to 7,000.

After the extension of town boundary by 2013, Council expects property rates to increase.
