The Government has received $153,000 from Nauru to help those affected by Tropical Cyclone Winston.

Acting Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs – Esala Nayasi received the cash grant today.

Nauru’s Secretary for Foreign Affairs Michael Aroi says they are saddened by the loss of lives and the devastation caused by the Cyclone.

Nayasi thanked Nauru saying any donation received now would greatly assist in the immediate relief assistance to the Fijians.

Meanwhile local business Kasabias Limited donated $50,000 to assist in the rehabilitation efforts.
