Makolei villager Farasiko Dravu says winds picked up speed at around mid-night and is continuing this morning.

Dravu says villagers were awake last night until this morning as they fear the heavy rain and winds brought about by TC Ana.

The evacuation centre in the village was activated yesterday to ensure the safety of people living in and around the area.
