Weather is calm in Lautoka

Heavy rain were experienced in Lautoka whole of today with gusts of wind picking up around 6pm.
Drasa resident Ronil Kumar says the continuous rain has caused some of the crossings in Drasa to go underwater with water level increasing.
He adds the wind has now died down with light showers being experienced in the past two hours.

Vasitia Leba who resides in Vitogo Paipai says Fijians in the area had made early preparation today as they do not want to be caught off guard.
