It is moving South-southeast at around 17km/hr.

Fiji Met Director, Misaele Funaki says TC Harold is expected to continue intensifying and develop into a Cat 5 system within the next 6 to 18hrs.

It is expected to move right across central Vanuatu tomorrow night.

Thereafter, it will maintain its South-eastward movement.

Though the centre of TC Harold will pass over open waters, the active rain bands (leads to flooding), strong gusty winds and high seas associated with the Sev TC Harold will be experienced over Fiji.

This is especially over Yasawa and Mamanuca group, Western half of Viti Levu, Kadavu and Southern Lau.
