Villagers of Naganivatu in Naitasiri are currently experiencing strong winds.

Naganivatu villager Lepani Delai says water from the Rewa River continues to rise as it was raining the entire day.

Delai says electricity has been out since last night.

He adds that villagers are ready to move to the evacuation centre if the water reaches the village.

The village hall has been activated as their evacuation centre.
