Access limited to some roads in the North

Some roads in and around Seaqaqa are currently inaccessible.

This is due to flooding caused by the heavy downpour in the area.

The Fiji Roads Authority confirms that floodwaters in Buavou Crossing on Buavou Circular Road have receded and the crossing is now accessible.

The Vunivere Crossing, Lutukina Crossing, Navudi Crossing and Splash Crossing are currently inaccessible as they are under floodwaters.

The Crossing on Lau Road is restricted to four-wheel drive only.

The Culvert dropout at Kawakawavesi Road have been reduced to single lane access.

FRA is urging motorists not to drive in this condition and find alternative routes where possible.
