Around 30 villagers are currently taking shelter at the Navukailagi evacuation centre in Gau as winds increases momentum.

Navukailagi villager Vereneisi Ibe says villagers have secured their homes and livestock yesterday before they move to the evacuation centre.

Ibe says heavy rain is currently being experienced on the island as they brace for Tropical Cyclone Ana.

They are also experiencing heavy swells as heavy rain and strong winds continue.
