National Youth Day was commemorated this morning with the theme ‘My Identity, My Talent, My Tomorrow.

More than four hundred youths from within the Central and Eastern Division
were part of the celebrations at Ratu Sukuna Memorial School in Nabua

Director Youth and Sports William Naisara told FBC News activities organized focused on the theme.

“One of the main message really is also enshrine in the theme as well and one of that is their identity ,who young people are and what they mean to their communities and to Fiji as a whole particularly in the reform processors that has taken place.”

Similar events were held at Churchill Park in Lautoka while youths from the North celebrated in Labasa ,Natewa Savusavu and Bua.
