The Ministry of Fisheries has completed the establishment of the National Plan of Action on Sharks.
Permanent Secretary for Fisheries Inoke Wainiqolo highlighted this during a presentation of the status of Fiji’s tuna stock at the Pacific Tuna Forum currently underway at the Sofitel Resort in Denarau, Nadi.
Wainiqolo says the policy has been completed but is yet to be adopted.

The National Plan for Action for Sharks which will see the management and protection of sharks in Fiji waters.
