A Nabuna villager in Koro Island pleaded guilty to one count of assaulting his wife on the 10th of October, this year.

22-year-old Finiasi Cola who was escorted from Koro Island appeared in the Suva Magistrates Court and will be sentenced on the 13th of November.

It is alleged that the couple fought when their daughter fought with another child in the village while the kids were playing together.

The man was on bail awaiting sentencing next week.
