Nabulivou claims Sayed-Khaiyum dictates everything in FijiFirst party

During a Unity Fiji campaign meeting, former FijiFirst member, Alivereti Nabulivou claimed FijiFirst General Secretary Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum dictates everything and chooses who should be removed from the party.

Nabulivou says some people including himself were given letters and told they were not on the list to be a candidate for FijiFirst.

He says the letters were given at night when Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama was out of the country.

Nabulivou claims that when he was with the party, they were tight-lipped all the time.

However, FijiFirst Leader Voreqe Bainimarama says they don’t need Nabulivou in their party in this election.

“I really have no comments for Nabulivou. We didn’t bring him back for obvious reasons, he was not good enough, that’s it.”

Nabulivou, who now is a candidate for Unity Fiji, got 1,306 votes under the FijiFirst banner during the 2014 general election.
