Two police officers from the Nabua Police station charged with supplying illicit drugs on two occasions have been granted bail by the Suva Magistrate court this afternoon.

Amani Bosenawai and Inia Mekemeke appeared at the Suva Magistrates Court this afternoon.

The court heard that between May 14th and 18th this year – the two allegedly supplied a Nelson Reagan of Samabula 382.9 grams of illicit drugs.

Bosenawai is also allegedly to have supplied Ilaija Krishneel 708.9 grams of illicit drugs between April 1st and May 31st .

The two were remanded at the Central Police Station for safety reasons.
