MWH seeks time to allow dispute resolution to take normal course

The Fiji Roads Authority and Global engineering consultancy MWH Global appeared in court today over their contract dispute.

The FRA had taken MWH to court over it’s decision to terminate its contract in Fiji and close up operations.

MWH lawyers asked the Suva High Court Judge for more time to allow dispute resolutions to take its normal course.

The engineering firm decided to pull out of Fiji after a dispute over payments owed by the Fiji Roads Authority.

MWH claims it’s owed millions of dollars

The case will now be called for mention on 2nd March 2017.
