Four men charged for allegedly murdering a Nawaicoba carpenter in Nadi in April have been further remanded in custody by the Lautoka High Court today.

The men include Nadi businessman, Rakesh Kumar and his employees Vinod Segran, Maikeli Loko and Mataisi Ului.

They allegedly assaulted Arun Vasudewan in April before he succumbed to his injuries and died at the Lautoka Hospital.

The accused first appeared in the Nadi Magistrates Court in April before the case was transferred to the high court.

Their bail application had been refused and the case has been adjourned to October 17th.
