Delivering the best and quality service to every citizen should be paramount for all municipal councils.
Permanent Secretary for Local Government, Joshua Wycliffe, says the Ministry will continue to work with all the council Chief Executive’s to get the best out of their service delivery.
Wycliffe says they will continue to come down hard on CEO’s of all municipalities who do not meet the standards.
“Will closely work together so what our expectations are from the citizenry the people have been made very clear to every city council and its put on paper and we follow up with them on a quarterly basis.”
Wycliffe told the various CEO’s that resources will continue to be provided by the Ministry to all the twelve municipal councils to ensure quality service is provided.
