The Local Government Minister today agreed that municipal councils are facing challenges in providing quality services.

Opening the three-day forum for Special Administrators and Chief Executive Officers today Timoci Natuva attributed these challenges to inadequate managerial skills and technical expertise.

He also agreed that financial problem is another issue.

The Minister says councils need to take positive steps to reach citizens at the grassroots level.
