January 28, 2018 1:18 am

The Maritime Safety Authority has almost completed the repair and installation of beacons in the Kadavu waters.

Chief Executive, John Tunidau, says they have carried out an extensive work in the erection of the navigational beacons, starting from the Suva Harbour.

“We’ve finished from the Draunibota area, Suva, we’ve come up to Vanua Levu, and we’ve covered all the channel markers in Savusavu where the mooring is. We’ve come up all the way to Vanuabalavu. We’ve completed that. We’ve completed all this side. Now, we’ve gone to Kadavu.”
