There’s a need for parliamentarians to look into peace building processes for the welfare and prosperity of all citizens around the globe.

This was highlighted by Speaker of Parliament Dr Jiko Luveni at the International Leadership Conference in Seoul, South Korea yesterday.

Dr Luveni says parliamentarians should think about the issues affecting people and to bring out peace and well-being for everyone.

She adds that as elected representatives- it is through them that the voices of the people they represent are heard in government.

She has also called on religious leaders to play an active role in this area.
