A mother’s love can never be measured as she is a walking miracle not only in our lives, but our families as well as the society.

Today is Mother’s Day and is a celebration honoring the mother of the family, and their influence in society.

This special day is celebrated in many ways from treats and spoils at the top of the list.

For the father from the Nasinu Lighthouse AOG church, cooking something special for lunch to honor their mother’s contribution was how they spent their day.

Church member Vinal Sami says a pot of Goat Palau and chili chicken was prepared to cater for mother’s day lunch after the church service.

“I would like to thank each and every mother in the country for their contributions. Though some may have passed on, we should treat those mothers who are still with us with love and dignity.”

While some mothers enjoyed the feast or even presents from their loved ones, FBC News would also like to wish all the mothers and those who play the role of a mother a joyous Mother’s Day.
