Mother remanded for allegedly wounding daughter

A 52-year-old mother from Nasinu is remanded in custody, after she allegedly hit her 17-year-old daughter with an electric cord.

The woman is charged with one count of unlawful wounding appeared at the Nasinu Magistrates Court this afternoon.

It’s alleged on June 10th the mother and daughter had a heated argument, as a result she hit her daughter, where the young girl received injuries.

Prosecution will determine her bail application by tomorrow.
