A 45-year-old mother who allegedly raped and assaulted her 14-year-old daughter last year will take stand in the Suva High Court next month.

The woman’s trial will start on November 6th.

It is alleged that the woman had sexual relations with her teenage daughter.

The alleged offense took place in Nasinu between January and July 2016.

The defense informed the court that they are ready for the trial.

The woman is represented by lawyer Lavinia David.
