More work needed to assist Vanuatu: Seruiratu

With the rebuilding process currently underway in Vanuatu, the Fiji National Disaster Management has confirmed there is still a lot of work that needs to be done.

Minister for National Disaster Management Inia Seruiratu says they’re looking at other options to assist the people of Vanuatu.

Seruiratu says that the government will look at ways to assist Vanuatu and they will work with the government donor agencies should there be any further considerations for assistance.

Seruiratu confirms that the people of Vanuatu will continue to receive relief supplies from Fiji and the total cost of relief supplies to Vanuatu now stands at over 500,000 dollars.
