Months of hard work has paid off for students of the three Technical Colleges in Vanua Levu, as they graduated yesterday.
455 students graduated with national certificates in the fields of engineering, construction, hospitality and agriculture.
Of these, 350 are from the Vanua Levu Arya Campus, 50 from the Ratu Ilisaiti Malodali Campus in Wainikoro and 55 from the Ratu Epeli Ravoka Campus in Bua.
Permanent Secretary for Education Iowane Tiko says while the students can now enter the workforce, they should continue to further their education.
“So, when you graduate today with your technical skills, make sure you get a degree with those skills. That’s important because our job market in the Northern division is a growing one.”
This is one of the biggest lots to graduate from the three colleges so far.
