More than 200 Marijuana plants seized in Navosa

A number of people have been taken in for questioning in relation to the unlawful cultivation of drugs in the Navosa highlands.

Police Chief of Operations, ACP Rusiate Tudravu, says close to two hundred marijuana plants were uprooted last week in the highlands and more seizures are expected.

ACP Tudravu says the raids were conducted following tip offs from concerned citizens.

He says a police team will remain in the highlands and will continue to survey other farms suspected of cultivating marijuana.
