More than 1700 students graduated from the University of the South Pacific today.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony this morning Vice-Chancellor Professor Pal Ahluwalia says for the first time, 65 percent of these graduates are females.
The Professor says this is a 5% increase in female graduates compared to the previous graduation session.

He says the university has seen a significant increase in enrolment and graduates over the past years.
