With a lot of hard drugs being found in the country together with cases of human trafficking, it’s important that various border agencies work together to eliminate such threats.

Australian Border Force, Director James Watson says border agencies play a vital role in protecting our borders.

Watson says a collaborated approach is vital to track down these kind of cases.

“Lots of threats out there that our border agencies have to deal with and you’ve just named a couple that we need to deal with and its how we bring together the operations that we do.”

Meanwhile, Director for Ministry of Defence Timoci Natuva says more coordination is needed to ensure our borders are well protected.
