Fiji Airways is looking increase it’s ratio of local pilots to foreign from 70 to 30 percent as opposed to the current 55 to 45 percent ratio.

The Airline’s Chief Executive Andre Viljoen says it’s something they anticipate with the acquisition of a new airbus A330-300.

Civil Aviation Minister Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says this will be done through their localization program over the next few years.
