The stock exchange markets are currently vibrant with demand with the latest exchange ratio showing that out of ten buyers in the markets there are seven sellers.
This was stated by South Pacific Stock Exchange Chairperson Dr Nur Bano Ali at the Listing Forum in Suva.
Ali has revealed that there is not enough companies listed in the markets to cater for the growing investors interested in our stock exchange.
“This is a clear indication that people and institution are seeking good return investment but there are not enough companies listed in the market in which these investors can buy shares from.”
SPSE states that there is a high chance of local companies getting good returns if they are listed in stock exchange.
Chief Executive Officer Latileta Qoro says companies will need to be well informed before being listed in the market.
